Description

Control of invasive weeds in the vicinity of the new Lake2Lake trail between Lakes Te Anau and Manapouri. Targetting mainly Darwin's Barberry and Cotoneaster as well as Douglas Fir near Lake Manapouri. The work is funded by a DoC Community Fund grant. Volunteer weeding from Marakura Yacht Club to Te Anau Bird Sanctuary. Contract weeding north of Frasers Beach, Manapouri has been completed, the remainder of the DOC Community Funding will be used for further control of Cotoneaster at Balloon Loop in 2021.
